.SH "NAME"
.HP
gcloud compute disks bulk create \- create multiple Compute Engine disks

.SH "SYNOPSIS"
.HP
\f5gcloud compute disks bulk create\fR \fB\-\-source\-consistency\-group\-policy\fR=\fISOURCE_CONSISTENCY_GROUP_POLICY\fR (\fB\-\-region\fR=\fIREGION\fR\ |\ \fB\-\-zone\fR=\fIZONE\fR) [\fIGCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG\ ...\fR]

.SH "DESCRIPTION"

\fBgcloud compute disks bulk create\fR facilitates the creation of multiple
Compute Engine disks with a single command. This includes cloning a set of Async
PD secondary disks with the same consistency group policy.

.SH "EXAMPLES"

To consistently clone secondary disks with the same consistency group policy
\'projects/example\-project/regions/us\-central1/resourcePolicies/example\-group\-policy'
to target zone 'us\-central1\-a', run:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud compute disks bulk create \e
    \-\-source\-consistency\-group\-policy=projects/example\-project/\e
regions/us\-central1/resourcePolicies/example\-group\-policy \e
    \-\-zone=us\-central1\-a
.RE

.SH "REQUIRED FLAGS"

.RS 2m
.TP 2m
\fB\-\-source\-consistency\-group\-policy\fR=\fISOURCE_CONSISTENCY_GROUP_POLICY\fR

URL of the source consistency group resource policy. The resource policy is
always the same region as the source disks.

.TP 2m

Exactly one of these must be specified:

.RS 2m
.TP 2m
\fB\-\-region\fR=\fIREGION\fR

Target region of the created disks, which currently must be the same as the
source region. If not specified, you might be prompted to select a region
(interactive mode only).

To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set the
\f5\fIcompute/region\fR\fR property:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud config set compute/region REGION
.RE

A list of regions can be fetched by running:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud compute regions list
.RE

To unset the property, run:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud config unset compute/region
.RE

Alternatively, the region can be stored in the environment variable
\f5\fICLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_REGION\fR\fR.

.TP 2m
\fB\-\-zone\fR=\fIZONE\fR

Target zone of the created disks, which currently must be the same as the source
zone. If not specified and the \f5\fIcompute/zone\fR\fR property isn't set, you
might be prompted to select a zone (interactive mode only).

To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set the
\f5\fIcompute/zone\fR\fR property:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud config set compute/zone ZONE
.RE

A list of zones can be fetched by running:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud compute zones list
.RE

To unset the property, run:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud config unset compute/zone
.RE

Alternatively, the zone can be stored in the environment variable
\f5\fICLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_ZONE\fR\fR.
