.SH "NAME"
.HP
gcloud alpha ai endpoints raw\-predict \- run Vertex AI online raw prediction

.SH "SYNOPSIS"
.HP
\f5gcloud alpha ai endpoints raw\-predict\fR (\fIENDPOINT\fR\ :\ \fB\-\-region\fR=\fIREGION\fR) \fB\-\-request\fR=\fIREQUEST\fR [\fB\-\-http\-headers\fR=[\fIHEADER\fR=\fIVALUE\fR,...]] [\fIGCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG\ ...\fR]

.SH "DESCRIPTION"

\fB(ALPHA)\fR \f5gcloud alpha ai endpoints raw\-predict\fR sends a raw
prediction request to a Vertex AI endpoint. The request can be given on the
command line or read from a file or stdin.

.SH "EXAMPLES"

To predict against an endpoint \f5\fI123\fR\fR under project \f5\fIexample\fR\fR
in region \f5\fIus\-central1\fR\fR, reading the request from the command line,
run:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud alpha ai endpoints raw\-predict 123 \-\-project=example \e
    \-\-region=us\-central1 \-\-request='{
    "instances": [
      { "values": [1, 2, 3, 4], "key": 1 },
      { "values": [5, 6, 7, 8], "key": 2 }
    ]
  }'
.RE

If the request body was in the file \f5\fIinput.json\fR\fR, run:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud alpha ai endpoints raw\-predict 123 \-\-project=example \e
    \-\-region=us\-central1 \-\-request=@input.json
.RE

To send the image file \f5\fIimage.jpeg\fR\fR and set the \fBcontent type\fR,
run:

.RS 2m
$ gcloud alpha ai endpoints raw\-predict 123 \-\-project=example \e
    \-\-region=us\-central1 \-\-http\-headers=Content\-Type=image/jpeg \e
    \-\-request=@image.jpeg

.SH "POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS"

.RS 2m
.TP 2m

Endpoint resource \- The endpoint to do online raw prediction. The arguments in
this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some
attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the \f5project\fR attribute:
.RS 2m
.IP "\(em" 2m
provide the argument \f5endpoint\fR on the command line with a fully specified
name;
.IP "\(em" 2m
provide the argument \f5\-\-project\fR on the command line;
.IP "\(em" 2m
set the property \f5core/project\fR.
.RE
.sp

This must be specified.

.RS 2m
.TP 2m
\fIENDPOINT\fR

ID of the endpoint or fully qualified identifier for the endpoint.

To set the \f5name\fR attribute:
.RS 2m
.IP "\(bu" 2m
provide the argument \f5endpoint\fR on the command line.
.RE
.sp

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this
group are specified.

.TP 2m
\fB\-\-region\fR=\fIREGION\fR

Cloud region for the endpoint.

To set the \f5region\fR attribute:
.RS 2m
.IP "\(bu" 2m
provide the argument \f5endpoint\fR on the command line with a fully specified
name;
.IP "\(bu" 2m
provide the argument \f5\-\-region\fR on the command line;
.IP "\(bu" 2m
set the property \f5ai/region\fR;
.IP "\(bu" 2m
choose one from the prompted list of available regions.

.SH "REQUIRED FLAGS"

.RS 2m
.TP 2m
\fB\-\-request\fR=\fIREQUEST\fR

The request to send to the endpoint.

If the request starts with the letter '\fB@\fR', the rest should be a file name
to read the request from, or '\fB@\-\fR' to read from \fBstdin\fR. If the
request body actually starts with '\fB@\fR', it must be placed in a file.

If required, the \fBContent\-Type\fR header should also be set appropriately,
particularly for binary data.

.sp

.SH "OPTIONAL FLAGS"

.RS 2m
.TP 2m
\fB\-\-http\-headers\fR=[\fIHEADER\fR=\fIVALUE\fR,...]

List of header and value pairs to send as part of the request. For example, to
set the \fBContent\-Type\fR and \fBX\-Header\fR:

.RS 2m
\-\-http\-headers=Content\-Type="application/json",X\-Header=Value

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this
command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project,
you might be trying to access an API with an invitation\-only early access
allowlist. These variants are also available:
